Thanks 2024 u were good.
The year has been as surprising as always. And grief has been a major part of this year for everyone. A lot of major people have died. But it's just made me realise how much more we should appreciate the things and people in our lives, just for who they are while they're alive.
I've not been a regular writer and I'm writting a recap of everything this year just to appreciate everything a little more . (I'll try mentioning all names, but if I don't please know that I still appreciate your existence)
Jan -
So new year new me started with chopping my hair short. Got a wolf cut. I got the responsibility of being a leader at Paradyes. This led to me meeting a hugeee bunch of people. Had a day out at the beach with them. To Kaizeen , Shazia, Sanika, Suraiya, Ashiya, Poonam, Farheen, Sandipan, Ahmed, Simran and Arulina - melovesyou, I appreciate your existence and you'll always have a spot in my heart, my potatoes 🥔.I had a minor cry session in class. Bumped into an old friend Saurabh. That was nice. Then I spent a lot of time with my classmates, seniors, juniors and ended the month with an amazing excursion trip. Fun times, unforgettable memories and a lot of eye opening information was recieved.
Feb-
Here the first months- will not care attitude vanished because, I do care, and I learnt it's okay to care. That's a part of what makes me who I am. Spent mumma and Asmita Ma'ams birthdays, went as a CL to another college. Got comfy with Saima and did a lil shopping with her. Coloured my hair orange. Met with Puma and Hamster 🤭. Hungout with my Para cutis again. Attended a conference with my juniors and learnt a lot of new things there
March-
Lots of academic stress. Work work, assignments, projects , practicals, research, stress and stress. Bid farewell to our senior and junior class. To Karuna, Sakshi, Shweta and everyone else- love y'all and miss y'all a lot every now and then. Attended an event with Taniya, Farhan, Purva and Sasha. Love y'all too 🫶🏻
April-
April fool's day was theday of our graduation ceremony. Met most of my classmates and seniors after a long time. Love all of y'all so so much 🫶🏻 Rishona, Sumedh, Kiran, Kuldeep, Taher, Ifat, Puma, Uzair, Kyra, Saima,Raj,Sanika, Medha,Yash, Amita, Sunnu di, Tanveer di, Rohit bhai and I know I'm forgetting names but trust me y'all are in my heart always.✨Went to IIT Bombay with my research samples for tests, lots more academic stress. Somehow broke my fav fidget ring. Dolled up and started to take pictures with the girls. Had random McDonald's trip with of course the Muffin Walopers. Lots more academic stress, exams, sleep deprived days and ended the month. Had Saima make lovely butterfly mehandi on my hand the past day and met Ganesh because of course it was summer camp season.
May-
Summer camp season with my only long standing partner in crime Ganesh. Summers wouldn't be as fun without you around. Many children, parents' and volunteers later the summer got over. Lots of struggles, sessions, tunning around and fun . To our little boy Zingzing, lots of love to you always. You're in our hearts and we'll remember u fondly always. Got Mumma and Meera Ma'am beautiful bouquets for mother's day. The joy on their faces was everything. This summer was fun, thanks to Ganesh, Saima, Pratik, Ritu, Anup Sir, Sandy, Anna, etc. lots of love to all of y'all. Met Amey after literally ages. It was so nice to hangout for whatever little time we could. Really miss u around a lot. Met with Sneha & the Muffin Walopers too again. About my hair, it went from faded orange like bronze, to blonde, to Aqua in one single month .
June-
Birthday month yeyy! Spent a lot of time having fun doing nothing (because that is very important too). Celebrated Ifat's birthday. College reopened and we thought to take pictures everyday. We decided that for our last academic year we'll make the most of everything, everyday and do the best we can. Made decorations and celebrated my Pappa's( grandfather )75th birthday with family. Coloured my hair Ocean blue a day before my birthday.Wore a lovely dress for my birthday, and as always Doraemon sent me a cake. Went to Church and had a lovely time there( my bday was on Sunday).
July-
Had a surprise post birthday celebration in class for me and two of our professors the very first day. Genuinely surprised , because I wasn't expecting it. Saima, Ifat, and Puma got me beutiful gifts. Love you girls tonnns 🥹. To my lovely Sparkles, Lon and Jr Lon that I lost this month, you're in my heart always. And melovesyou and I hope you felt that' while you were around.
Got a new professor in class. Spent several hours looking at algae and fungi under the microscope.Had a family gathering, sang, danced, played bombing the city, housie and ate lovely food with my lovely uncle's, aunt's, grandparents and cousin's. Also met a bunch of directioners and another new bunch of people too this month. To my directioners who are always sleeping - Aniket, Parag Daivik, Sawani and Sakshada, as well as the other crazy bunch of sleep deprived ,crazy music lovers Ash, Ally, Angie, Aarya, Aatish, Annanya, Bisma, Faith, Farida, Hanna, Haze, Jan, Kartik, Layan, Meryem, Nick, NayNay, Prachi, Riri, Ray, Rita, Baby Sweets, Shaurma, Saima, Shru, Saad, Tiff & Uday - melovesyou 💜 ✨ 🫂( if I forgot someone, sorry). Also to Angel, Meet, Soph, Adiba, , Mehak, Kechua, Varun and Mansi - lotsof love.
August-
Another longgg month. I roamed around with sadness practically written on my face for a long time. There were a few fights in class but it's okay. With a tense atmosphere we still managed to have fun. Muffin Walopers ans McDonald's to the rescue. Sneha took me on a lovely movie date one evening. Very nicely celebrated Sharayu Ma'ams birthday. Randomly took lots more pictures. I made nanoparticles for the first time in my life in our lab. The "we will take pictures everyday" got destroyed bcoz of rains and the extremely stressful schedules. And that's all for August, it slipped away.
September-
Lots of random jamming sessions in the gc. Went for fashion show auditions with Saima for fun. Prepared surprse for the professors along with a teacher's day celebration. Me & Saima cried during it too , we had fun , played around and danced together. Met Amita out of the blue at station (melovesyou). Sat with her there and yapped for over an hour. Icyyy and Olieee came home . We yapped and walked and sang and cried and did everything we possible could in half a day. Celebrated Gannu ka birthday. Freaked out over the pending practicals and portion, and all of us roamed around super stressed.
October-
Blackie and white socks ( black & ginger cats) stayed in our house for a couple weeks. Freaked out because of exams. Stress level at maximum, lost Payno mid exams, cried a lot over it. Saw the prettiest october skies, recieved a coaster and seasons greetings from Paradyes. Finished the exams and spent the last day after exams at the beach with the girlie. ( It's one of my fav memories). Slept like a baby for the next few days ans made rangolis outside the house during Diwali.
November-
First week I got a prize for my rangoli from our society ( I didn't know I was participating). My aunt and her daughter from Pune suddenly showed up at our door, so we hungout and went to the beach with them. Played, ran around and had a lot of fun ( it's the beach so of course). Went to the beach with Doraemon and Johnny Bravo as well. It was so nice to meet y'all after so long. Y'all roast me but it's ok( ik it's your love) melovesyou 💜. We had anee Ma'am join us at college. Had to bid farewell to Casper. A lovely ceremony for certification in our BILD program also took plac and a lovely placement opportunity opened up. I applied for it hoping for the best.
December-
Wow last month. It actually flew by like a cool breeze . started with the college fest in the begging of the month itself. After cursing our college all the time, we shameless dressed up , celebrated and danced in the college fest. Because these are our days. We celebrated Christmas too very nicely in college. We ate , raised a toast, gifted each other and sang. Christimas was later celebrated with church and family with lot of love and joy. This month I also met another new person who writes and has renewed my love and motivation for writting. Thanks Biru.
Now, all in all, thank you to everyone for existing. You are loved and appreciated. Your existence is important. Your existence has a purpose. Your existence is cherished. God loves you as who you are. May this coming year 2025 be filled with love, joy and abundant blessings I pray. Amen.
